West Lindsey District Council will once again be exhibiting at the hugely popular Lincolnshire Show.
The event, which takes place at the Lincolnshire Showground in West Lindsey attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year and this year it is expected to be no different.
The Council’s theme this year is ‘Then and Now’ and we are excited that the Gainsborough Heritage Centre will be at the council’s marquee to share Gainsborough’s rich heritage.
Chairman of West Lindsey District Council Cllr. Pat Mewis is looking forward to attending the event. She said:
“It is an excellent opportunity to meet and speak to people from the district and those visiting this prestigious West Lindsey event.
“A further pleasure will be to see the Agriculture of Lincolnshire at its very best and the businesses that support this beautiful area in so many ways. I am very much looking forward to the Show, it is an excellent and enjoyable experience that I am always delighted to be part of.”
Cllr Mewis who is also Chairman of the Council’s Lincolnshire Show Working Group is looking forward to welcoming visitors to the event and urged people looking to do business or networking to pop in to the council’s marque.
The Chairman will be joined by fellow West Lindsey District councillors across the two day event, as well as council officers.
