Voluntary Centre Services, based at the Guildhall in Gainsborough, are conducting a piece of work to help the Council map and report back on the state of the voluntary and community sector in West Lindsey.
This work includes finding out about existing community groups, charities and parish level projects. The survey will help the Council understand more fully about funding needs for community activities and projects. A final report will be produced with the survey findings and other research conducted. This will then help shape West Lindsey District Council’s future approach to working with and funding the community and voluntary sector. Cllr. Giles McNeill said:
“I hope as many people as possible will take the opportunity to take the survey. The more people who answer the survey’s questions the better an understanding we will have of the current landscape, and how it is expected to change in the future.”
